A Calm Bath From the Team Your Dog Already Trusts

No cage dryers, no haircuts, no stress. Just a warm bath, a thorough brush-out, a careful nail trim, and gentle ear cleaning from people your dog already knows.

What does dog grooming at Partners Dogs include?

Partners Dogs grooming is straightforward hygiene care: a warm bath, a full brush-out, a careful nail trim, and a gentle ear cleaning, with bath and brush at $50 for any size dog and nails at $25. We focus on clean and comfortable rather than styled cuts, which keeps the whole visit calm and quick. Because the same handlers who train and play with your dog do the bath, even anxious dogs tend to settle faster than they would somewhere brand new. Book it on its own, or fold it into a boarding stay or DaySchool day so your dog comes home clean without a separate trip.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

What a Partners Groom Covers

  • Warm bath. Your dog gets a full lather and rinse in warm water with a gentle shampoo, so they leave clean and fresh without the chemical sting of a rushed wash.
  • Full brush-out. We work loose undercoat and tangles out by hand, which cuts down on shedding at home and keeps the coat from matting between visits.
  • Careful nail trim. We trim nails back to a comfortable length so your dog stands and walks better and your floors and shins stop paying the price.
  • Gentle ear cleaning. We clean the outer ear to clear wax and debris, a small step that heads off the itching and infections dogs are prone to in dry Arizona air.
  • Hand drying, never a cage dryer. Your dog is towel and hand-dried by a person rather than shut in a heated box, which keeps the whole finish calm and safe.
  • A familiar handler start to finish. The same team that trains and plays with your dog runs the bath, so there are no strangers and no new building to be afraid of.

WHY DOGS DO BETTER HERE

The Same People Your Dog Already Trusts

A typical salon is a stranger, a steel table, and a cage dryer roaring in the next room. For a lot of dogs that means a whole day of stress before they ever get home.

Here, the bath is run by the same handlers who train and play with your dog every week. Same faces, same building, same calm routine. Nervous dogs settle faster, seniors get the slow pace they need, and nobody has to white-knuckle their way through the afternoon.

You get a clean, brushed, tidy dog. Your dog gets a low-stress day with people they already know.

GOOD FIT IF YOUR DOG…

Who This Grooming Suits Best

  • Hates the salon. Shakes, drools, or shuts down at a typical groomer, and does far better with handlers and a building they already know.
  • Already boards or comes to DaySchool. Spends days with us anyway, so a bath folds right into the visit and skips a separate trip across town.
  • Just needs clean, not styled. Has a coat that wants a wash, a brush, and tidy nails rather than a scissor cut or breed trim.
  • Is overdue on nails. Clicks across the floor or has started splaying its feet, and needs a calm, no-drama nail trim to get comfortable again.
  • Is a senior or special-needs dog. Can't handle a long, loud salon day, and needs the pace slowed down and the stress dialed way back.
  • Came in muddy from the desert. Rolled through a wash or a dusty trail and just needs to be presentable again before coming back in the house.

HOW WE KEEP IT LOW-STRESS

The Calm Grooming Process

A familiar face. Your dog is met by a handler they already know from training or daycare, not a stranger in an unfamiliar shop, so the visit starts calm instead of tense.

The bath. We lather and rinse in warm water at a pace your dog can handle, watching their body language and easing off the moment something feels like too much.

Brush and dry. We hand-dry and brush the coat out fully, working through loose fur and tangles. No cage dryer, no heated box, no roar of machines crowding the dog.

Nails and ears. We finish with a careful nail trim and a gentle ear cleaning, the two steps dogs find fussiest, taken slowly and stopped if your dog needs a breather.

Back to their day. If grooming is part of a boarding or DaySchool visit, your dog goes right back to the people and routine they know, clean and done, with nothing left hanging over them.

HOW WE'RE DIFFERENT

Hygiene Grooming vs a Styling Salon

A traditional grooming salon and our bath service solve two different problems. Knowing which you actually need saves your dog a stressful day.

  • A styling salon: Built around scissor and clipper haircuts, breed trims, and a polished look, often with cage dryers and a long wait among unfamiliar dogs. Right when you want a specific cut or coat style.
  • Partners hygiene grooming: Built around clean and comfortable: bath, brush-out, nails, and ears, done quickly by handlers your dog trusts, with no cage dryers and no haircuts. Right when you want a fresh, tidy dog without the salon ordeal.

THE POINT OF IT ALL

A Fresh Dog, Without the Salon Meltdown

No cage dryers. No haircut gamble. No day-long wait among strangers. Just a warm bath, a real brush-out, and a calm dog who comes home clean and still themselves.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does dog grooming cost?

A bath and brush is $50 for any size dog, and a nail trim is $25. We can bundle grooming into a boarding or DaySchool day so it's all done in one visit instead of a separate appointment.

Do you do haircuts or breed styling?

No. We focus on clean-and-comfortable hygiene grooming: baths, brush-outs, nails, and ears, rather than scissor or clipper haircuts. Skipping the styling is what keeps the visit calm and fast for the dog.

Do you use cage dryers?

Never. We don't use cage dryers, which are a common source of stress and overheating at busy salons. Your dog is hand-dried and brushed out by a person, not left in a heated box.

Can anxious or senior dogs be groomed here?

Often more easily than elsewhere, because the building and the people are already familiar. For senior and special-needs dogs we slow the whole process down to their comfort and skip anything that rattles them.
