The 21-Night Reactive Dog Board & Train That Gets to the Root Cause

You have tried everything for the barking, lunging, anxiety, or guarding, and you are exhausted. Behavior Camp is the 21-night reset that addresses why your dog reacts, not just how to suppress it.

My dog lunges and reacts, is that a training problem we can fix?

Behavior Camp is Partners Dogs' 21-night board-and-train for dogs with moderate behavior challenges, reactivity, anxiety, fear, resource guarding, and severe leash reactivity that go beyond basic manners. Rather than masking the behavior, our trainers build a plan around your dog's specific triggers and history, changing the underlying emotional response through structured daily work, modeling, and controlled exposure. Then we teach you to hold the change at home through private transition lessons and Pet Parenting classes. It is the level between Foundation Camp's obedience reset and the severe-aggression work of Transform Camp, and a PD360 assessment confirms it is the right fit before you enroll.

Family-owned since 1997. 70,000+ dogs trained. 4.8 stars across 2,000+ reviews. Two Arizona campuses, Scottsdale and Cave Creek.

    WHEN EVERYTHING ELSE HAS FAILED

Reactive, Anxious, Destructive. We Have Not Run Out of Answers.

The lunging on leash, the barking at the window, the anxiety that empties the house of peace, you have tried everything and you are tired. Behavior Camp is the reset. Over three weeks your dog lives and works with our trainers, and you get back a dog that can settle, focus, and move through the world without setting the whole family on edge.

    THIS IS NOT YOUR FAULT

The fact that you are still looking for answers means your dog has exactly the kind of owner they need.

Reactivity is not caused by loving your dog the wrong way. It comes from genetics, early experiences, and instincts that every rehearsal made stronger. What has been missing is not effort. It is a plan built around your dog's specific triggers, and that is what PD360 gives us.

Every Behavior Camp Begins With PD360

Behavior Camp starts with a PD360 assessment so we understand exactly what is driving the behavior before training begins. It is $199, it is credited toward your enrollment, and it is required for Behavior Camp because a real plan beats a generic one every time.

What you will see in this 4-minute look inside the reset:

    • How a reactive dog's first days are structured, calm, and fair
    • Daily sessions that replace lunging and barking with focus
    • The handover, where you learn to keep the calm at home

Three weeks of work, condensed to four minutes. This is what an immersive reset actually looks like day to day.

    THE OUTCOME WE BUILD

Calm, Focused, and Able to Cope

The goal is not a robot. It is a dog that can be calm in the moments that used to unravel: the doorbell, the walk past another dog, the empty house. We get there with structure, fair accountability, and enough repetition that the new response becomes the default.

    WHY PARTNERS

Behavior Work Run by Career Dog Trainers

70,000+ dogs since 1997. Family-owned from day one, with a combined century of trainer experience. Behavior cases are our specialty, not an exception.

Balanced and individualized. We match the approach to the dog and the trigger. Fearful, reactive, and anxious dogs all get a plan built for them.

Honest about fit. The PD360 tells us, and you, whether Behavior Camp is the right call before you commit.

90% of the job is training you. Behavior change holds only when you can manage it at home, so coaching you is built into the program.

    HOW IT WORKS

    How Behavior Camp Works

Assessment and check-in. Your PD360 maps the triggers and history. At check-in we confirm vaccinations, complete your dog's profile, and lock in the plan and goals.

Training and demos. Your dog works daily structured sessions and practices calm between them. You come in for demos, including a working demo, so you see the new responses and start learning to handle them yourself.

Transition to you. Through your transition lesson and Pet Parenting classes, we hand you the tools to keep your dog regulated long after camp ends.

    Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Behavior Camp cost?

Behavior Camp with a private luxury suite is $6,244. The 21-night live-in stay makes up about $205 a night of that, and the full program works out to roughly $17.50 per hour of dedicated behavior work. One transparent price covers the PD360 plan, 21 nights of live-in training, family lessons, and built-in follow-up school. A $100 deposit holds your dates, 50% is due at check-in, and the balance at pickup. Financing is available, and Plus, Premium, or Platinum members pay from $3,311.

How long is Behavior Camp and what is included?

Behavior Camp runs 21 nights of all-day immersive training. Included: a required PD360 assessment and custom plan, 21 nights of live-in behavior work in a private luxury suite, 3.5 hours of private family lessons, 16 DayCamp reinforcement days, 8 Pet Parenting group classes, a video demo, a working demo, a transition lesson, and free access to the online Pet Parent Guide.

Is my dog aggressive, or just reactive?

Most lunging and barking is reactivity: an over-the-top response to a trigger driven by fear or frustration, not intent to harm. True aggression involves intent and usually a bite history. Your PD360 assessment maps which one you are dealing with across 130+ tracked behaviors, so the plan fits the real problem.

My dog has bitten, is Behavior Camp the right level?

Behavior Camp is built for moderate cases, including a single reactive, situational bite. If your dog has a multi-bite history, bites toward family members, or outward aggression, Transform Camp is the better fit. Your PD360 assessment will tell you honestly which level your dog needs.

What if leash reactivity is my dog's only problem?

If on-leash lunging and barking is the one thing standing between you and a peaceful walk, the 14-night Leash Reactivity Intensive focuses every session on that single outcome. Choose Behavior Camp when reactivity comes with anxiety, guarding, or destruction at home.

How soon can my dog start?

Start with the PD360 assessment. Once it confirms the fit, most families check in within 2 to 6 weeks depending on availability at Scottsdale or Cave Creek, and a $100 deposit holds your dates.

Will I get updates while my dog is here?

Yes. You get regular Pupdates with photos or video and progress notes, plus demo sessions where you see the new responses in person, including a working demo, so you always know where your dog is in the behavior work and start learning to hold it yourself.
