If we like what we hear in the virtual interview, we will invite you to a Non-Working Shadow at one of our locations. This is unpaid for just a few hours. This is meant to introduce you to our team, operations, and environment. This is for you to decide if we are an ideal fit for you and vice versa.

Working Shadow

If everything goes well in the Non-Working Shadow, we will invite you back for a paid, Working Shadow. We will assess your availability, add you to our Payroll system, and schedule your Working Shadow. This typically includes one full work week but does not have to be consecutive days if you are still finishing up at another job. This gives you the opportunity to work in our environment and ensure that the job is an ideal fit for you and vice versa.

If everything goes well during the Working Shadow we will hire you on full-time and begin your onboarding process. After the 90-days you are able to access other benefits, additional compensation, and more!

FAQs About Our Dog Training Jobs

How much experience do I need to apply?

We prefer an applicant to have at least a year of experience in the pet industry in order to ensure this is what you are looking to do as your career! However, most of the time we re-train team members into our systems either way!

What are the typical hours?

For entry-level positions, most weeks will include 4 shifts of 10 hours/shift with a 1-hour break for lunch.

For other positions, most weeks will include 5 shifts of 8 hours/shift with a 1-hour break for lunch.

Am I allowed to bring my dogs to work?

We do allow our team to bring one personal dog to work once they have passed the 90-day onboarding period with us. Dogs must still be vaccinated and not pose a distraction to staff or other guests staying with us. This is considered a privilege and requires approval from a senior staff member.
