Behavior Severity Level
Severity: Moderate
What you may be seeing
- Barking, howling, or whining that begins when you prepare to leave or shortly after departure
- Destructive behavior focused near exits — doors, windows, door frames
- House soiling from a dog that is otherwise reliably housetrained
- Excessive panting, drooling, or trembling in anticipation of your departure
- Desperate greeting behavior when you return — jumping, spinning, inability to settle
- Refusal to eat or engage with toys or chews when alone
- Pacing, inability to relax, shadow-following when you are home
- Attempts to escape (some resulting in self-injury)
- Distress even during very brief absences — unable to tolerate a closed bathroom door
- Video or neighbor reports of crying, barking, or chaos that you don't witness directly

What Our Clients Say
“I was working from home full-time just because I couldn't bear leaving Maple alone. After Behavior Camp, she can handle a full day by herself without any drama. I actually cried on the drive home the first time I left her and nothing happened.”
“Our neighbors had approached us twice about the barking. We were embarrassed and at our wit's end. The team at Partners Dog School didn't just train Biscuit — they completely changed how he thinks about being alone. Six months later, he settles on his bed the moment we leave.”
