DaySchool: The Dog Daycare Where Your Dog Trains While You Work

Drop the guilt of leaving your dog home alone. DaySchool turns the workday into structured training, real-world socialization, enrichment, and rest, so your dog comes home happy, tired, and better behaved.

What is DaySchool and who is it for?

DaySchool is Partners Dogs' dog daycare with daily training built in, combining structured obedience and enrichment with supervised, intentional socialization rather than unsupervised free play. Your dog works through a trainer-led daily flow of skill blocks, real-world socialization grouped by play style, treadmill conditioning, and calm rest, all with one trainer for every 10 dogs, the best staffing ratio in Arizona. Behaviors are taught and tracked in our PD360 system across eight cumulative grade levels, you get an end-of-day Pupdate, and one weekly Pet Parenting class is included with membership. Memberships start at $199/month, and a PD360 assessment day sets your dog's goals before enrollment.

Family-owned since 1997. 70,000+ dogs trained. 4.8 stars across 2,000+ reviews. Two Arizona campuses, Scottsdale and Cave Creek, with the fewest dogs per trainer in the valley.

WHICH IS RIGHT FOR YOUR DOG?

    DaySchool vs DayCamp

Both run in Scottsdale and Cave Creek, built for different dogs. A PD360 assessment tells you which fits in one day.

    • Trainer leading a small group of dogs through a calm sit-stay on the Partners DaySchool training floorDaySchool: Supervised off-leash play, enrichment, and daily grade-level curriculum work for genuinely social dogs. You are here.
    • Partners trainer working one-on-one with a focused dog during structured DayCamp trainingDayCamp: Structured group training plus supervised social time for dogs still building the self-control open play demands. See DayCamp

    MORE THAN DAYCARE

A Full School Day, Not a Holding Pen

Most daycare drops your dog into a room and hopes the day goes fine. DaySchool is built the other way around. From drop-off to pickup, your dog moves through real training, enrichment, and supervised play, all woven into one day.

Your dog works the same grade-level curriculum we teach in Group Classes, learning to settle, hold focus, and play politely around real distractions. Then they burn energy with friends who match their size, play style, and temperament. You drop off a dog who runs the house and pick up one who is learning to live in it, happy and worn out.

    WHAT EVERY DAY INCLUDES

What Your Dog Gets, Every Single Day

    • Daily obedience and manners training. Short, focused sessions on the skills that make your dog easier to live with, taught by professional trainers, not minders.
    • 130+ behaviors tracked across 8 grade levels. Every skill is logged in our PD360 system and proofed through at least four stages of learning, so progress compounds week over week.
    • Real-world socialization. Supervised play with dogs grouped by size, energy, and play style, so your dog practices manners around real distractions.
    • One trainer for every 10 dogs. The best staffing ratio in Arizona, held by rigorously trained staff, not the 20 to 50 dogs per person you find at warehouse daycares.
    • Enrichment and rest. Mental work, structured play, and genuine downtime so your dog comes home satisfied, not over-stimulated.
    • A daily Pupdate. What your dog worked on, what to keep up at home, and which friends they played with, with photos and videos in their Adventure Album.

    WHAT A DAY LOOKS LIKE

    A Predictable, Trainer-Led Daily Flow

Drop-off. Arrive any time during opening hours. No set windows, so the day fits your schedule.

Morning training. Small-group work on manners, attention, and impulse control in a calm setting.

Midday play and enrichment. Supervised social time in size and energy-matched groups.

Afternoon reinforcement and rest. Short reps woven into play, balanced with real downtime.

Pickup and Pupdate. Collect your dog any time before close and hear what they worked on.

    HOW IT WORKS

    Getting Started in Three Steps

    • 1. Prep and PD360 assessment. We send Pet Parent Portal access to verify vaccinations and build your dog profile. Then your dog spends a 4+ hour PD360 day with us so we can gauge play style, obedience, and temperament, and recommend the right starting point at pickup.
    • 2. DaySchool days begin. Your dog comes back for training, socialization, and enrichment that move their obedience, manners, and temperament forward. Each day ends with a Pupdate, and members join a weekly Pet Parenting Class.
    • 3. Progress tracking and grade-ups. We check in weekly to re-set goals and keep you confident at home, then graduate your dog into the next grade level as they master new behaviors and reinforce old ones.

    GOOD FIT IF YOUR DOG

    Who DaySchool Is For

Social and ready for the pack. DaySchool is for dogs already comfortable with off-leash group play, at least 20 weeks old and current on Bordetella, Rabies, and Distemper or Parvo.

Bursting with energy. High-drive dogs who get destructive when under-exercised come home satisfied and settled.

Building lasting manners. Daily reinforcement so training sticks instead of fading between weekly sessions.

Puppies past 20 weeks. The socialization window is short. Under 20 weeks? Start in Pre-School Puppy and graduate straight in. See Pre-School Puppy

Camp graduates keeping skills sharp. Regular DaySchool days reinforce the same curriculum Foundation Camp dogs trained on. See Foundation Camp

Not quite ready yet? Reactive, fearful, or newly adopted dogs start in DayCamp, then graduate into DaySchool. See DayCamp

    Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between DaySchool and DayCamp?

DaySchool combines structured training with supervised group play for social dogs already comfortable off leash. DayCamp is for dogs who need behavior work first. Reactive, fearful, or over-aroused dogs build skills in DayCamp until they earn their way into DaySchool.

    How much does DaySchool cost?

A single DaySchool day is $65, about $7 an hour. Memberships start at $199 a month for Plus, with Premium at $399 and Platinum at $599, each adding more days, bigger member discounts, and a rate of about $5 an hour. DayCamp is $115 a day. See full pricing.

    What are the DaySchool hours?

Monday to Friday 7am to 6pm and Saturday 8am to 4pm, closed Sunday. There are no set drop-off or pickup windows, so the day fits your schedule. Both campuses run DaySchool: Scottsdale at 8642 E Shea Blvd and Cave Creek at 4640 E Forest Pleasant Pl.

    What is the trainer-to-dog ratio?

One trainer for every 10 dogs, far fewer dogs per person than the 20 to 50 common at standard daycares. Every team member is trained to read complex behavior and handle emergencies calmly.

Is my dog a good fit for DaySchool?

Dogs need to be at least 20 weeks old, current on Bordetella, Rabies, and Distemper or Parvo, and comfortable playing appropriately with other dogs. A PD360 assessment confirms fit. If your dog is reactive or fearful, DayCamp is the right starting point.

Is DaySchool a good alternative to board and train?

For many families, yes. Your dog works the same curriculum we teach in our camps, spread across the days you drop off, and sleeps at home every night. If you need faster change for serious behavior problems, Foundation Camp compresses months of progress into weeks, and DaySchool days afterward lock it in.

Can someone pick my dog up for DaySchool?

Yes. The Dog School Bus, the first of its kind in Arizona, collects your dog from a neighborhood stop across Scottsdale, Cave Creek, and North Phoenix, delivers a full day of DaySchool, and brings them home. It is a monthly add-on for active DaySchool members. Ask our team about routes at your assessment.

Can I watch my dog on a camera during the day?

We do not run public live cameras. Instead you get a daily Pupdate with photos and videos in the Pet Parent Portal, plus a direct message from the team if anything specific comes up.

What do I need to bring?

Current vaccine records, a properly fitted flat collar and leash, and your dog's food if they stay through a meal. We handle the rest.
