Dog Boarding · Scottsdale & Cave Creek
Boarding at the One Place Your Dog Won't Be Bored
Travel without the guilt: your dog gets daily exercise, real socialization, climate-controlled comfort, and the option to come home a little more trained than they left.
What makes trainer-run dog boarding different from a kennel?
Partners Dogs boarding is structured care, not a row of crates. Your dog gets daily exercise rotations, supervised socialization, and climate-controlled suites at our Scottsdale and Cave Creek campuses, looked after by the same team that trains thousands of dogs a year. You get periodic photos, videos, and report cards, and your dog comes home tired in the good way.

WHY PARTNERS
Boarding Run by Dog Trainers, Not a Kennel
Most boarding facilities are kennels with caretakers. Ours are training campuses, and the difference shows up in every detail of your dog's stay.
Health and safety first. Vaccinations verified for every dog, pet CPR training for all staff, and some of the strictest cleaning protocols in the valley.
Cleanliness you can trust. Enclosures are sanitized daily with hospital-grade, veterinary-rated cleaner, and equipment is cleaned every day.
Every breed, every temperament. Personality, breed, age, and history all factor into a care plan for each guest, including reactive, fearful, and senior dogs. Dogs with a bite history or special needs board under senior-instructor care at $119 per night, so the dogs most kennels turn away still have a safe place to stay.
Read by professionals, all day long. Trainers notice what kennel attendants miss: a skipped meal, a stiff gait, stress panting, the early signs that something is off.
Watched over around the clock. Low staff-to-dog ratios, daily feeding and medication logs, overnight on-site staff in Scottsdale, and an owner living on the Cave Creek property.

HOW IT WORKS
How Boarding Works
- Prep and check-in. We verify Bordetella, Rabies, and Distemper or Parvo vaccinations, and you complete your dog's profile in the Pet Parent Portal with feeding, medication, and emergency details. Because we are closed to the public on Sunday, plan drop-off for Saturday or Monday during office hours, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm and Saturday 8am to 2pm.
- During their stay. Your dog gets daily exercise and potty rotations, feeding and medication on their home schedule, and plenty of attention. You receive periodic report cards with photos, plus progress notes on any DaySchool, treadmill, or training you have added.
- Check-out and go-home. We share a recap of the stay, return any food or medication you brought, and process payment. Want your dog home freshly bathed? Add a bath and brush to any reservation for $50.
FOR DOGS IN TRAINING
Boarding That Keeps the Progress Going
- Training continues, grade by grade. If your dog is already in a program with us, boarding is not a pause. We keep the work moving for each grade level, and it stays in sync with their other programs so nothing slips while you are away.
- Daily pupdates. Every day you get a pupdate: what your dog did, the activities they joined, and what they worked on. Because pupdates feed our PD360 system, anything that needs more attention is added to their training plan automatically.
- PD360 is optional. You do not need PD360 to board with us. If your dog just needs a comfortable place to stay, that is exactly what they get. Want to add structured training? You are welcome to join anytime.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does dog boarding cost?
Boarding is $80 per night for a luxury glass and stainless-steel suite, with a three-night minimum stay. That covers daily rotations, feeding and medications on your dog's schedule, wellness checks, and photo updates. Add-ons like DaySchool ($50 per day) or a bath and brush ($50) are extra.
What is the difference between boarding and board and train?
Boarding is comfortable overnight care while you travel, with optional training add-ons like DaySchool or a private session. Board and train, our Foundation Camp, is a structured program built to change specific behaviors, so your dog comes home noticeably different, not just rested. If the goal is a calmer dog at pickup, choose the camp.
What vaccinations does my dog need to board?
Current Bordetella, Rabies, and Distemper/Parvo (DHPP) vaccinations, given at least one week before check-in. Upload records to the Pet Parent Portal, email them to our team, or we can verify directly with your vet.
What time is drop-off and pickup?
Check-in and check-out happen during office hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm and Saturday 8am to 2pm. We are closed to the public on Sunday, so plan drop-off and pickup for Saturday or Monday. Your dog is still cared for, fed, and exercised every day of their stay.
Is there staff on-site overnight?
Yes. Our Scottsdale campus has staff on-site overnight, and at Cave Creek one of the owners lives on the property, so your dog is never truly alone.
Do you board reactive, senior, or special-needs dogs?
Yes. We factor in personality, breed, age, and history to build a care plan for each guest. Dogs with a bite history or special needs board under senior-instructor care at $119 per night, so dogs most kennels turn away still have a safe place to stay.
When should I book holiday boarding?
As early as you can. Thanksgiving and Christmas stays fill up months in advance at both campuses, so reserve as soon as your travel dates are set.
