Community

More Than a School, a Community of Arizona Dog People

Graduations, pack walks, reunions, and a steady stream of wins from families across the Valley. When your dog trains here, you join a community that keeps showing up for each other.

What is the Partners Dogs community?

The Partners Dogs community is the network of graduate families, events, and shared stories that grows out of training together across Scottsdale and Cave Creek. It is pack walks and reunions, alumni classes and play days, live reviews and referral connections, the human side of having worked through 70,000+ dogs over 28+ years. Training may bring you in, but the community is what keeps families coming back: a place to celebrate progress, swap advice, and stay connected to the trainers and dog people who get it.

WHY IT MATTERS

When Your Dog Trains Here, You Join the Pack

  • A familiar team that knows your dog. The same people handle training, daycare, boarding, and grooming, so every visit feels like coming back to people who already know your dog's name and story.
  • Families who have been where you are. From the first chaotic puppy weeks to a calm dog you can take anywhere, you are surrounded by owners a few steps ahead, happy to share what worked.
  • A place to keep showing up. Graduation is the start, not the finish. Pack walks, reunions, and open classes give you reasons to stay connected long after your first program ends.

LOCAL ROOTS SINCE 1997

Family Owned, Arizona Grown

Partners Dogs started as one family's commitment to Arizona dogs and their people, and it has stayed family owned ever since. Our founding campus sits on the desert in Cave Creek, where owner Leighton Oosthuisen still lives on the property, and our Scottsdale campus on Shea brings the same team and the same standards closer to the heart of the Valley.

Over 28+ years we have worked through 70,000+ dogs from neighborhoods all across greater Phoenix. We are not a franchise that rolled into town. We are your neighbors, and this is home.
