Which Partners program is right for my dog?

Start with what you want to change, and the answer is usually one of five paths. A brand new puppy starts in the Puppy Program or Group Classes. Pulling, jumping, and ignored commands point to Group Classes or Private Lessons. Reactivity, fear, or aggression call for a residential reset in Behavior Camp or Transform Camp. A polished, off-leash dog you can take anywhere comes from Foundation Camp or Transform Camp. Care while you work or travel means DaySchool, boarding, or grooming from the same team. Not sure which line you are on? The PD360 assessment puts a senior trainer on your dog in person and hands you a definite next step. The relief is the same either way: you stop guessing and start moving.

NEW PUPPY OR EVERYDAY MANNERS

If the Goal Is a Good Start or Better Manners

A new puppy and a friendly adult who simply never learned the rules belong on the same gentle on-ramp. You want a dog who greets people without launching, walks without dragging you, and settles when you ask. That comes from steady reps in the real world, not a residential reset.

Our recommendation. Start a young puppy in the Puppy Program for socialization and foundation skills at the right pace. For an older dog with pulling, jumping, or door chaos, Group Classes build manners in a social setting, and Private Lessons tailor the coaching to your home and schedule. All three run on the same grade-level curriculum, so your dog can climb as far as you want to take them.

REACTIVITY, FEAR, OR AGGRESSION

If You Brace Every Time You Leave the House

Lunging at other dogs, barking that will not stop, fear that tips into snapping, a bite that scared everyone. This is the hardest place to be, and it is the clearest call we make. Weekly hour-long sessions rarely move a dog out of a deep pattern. A concentrated, live-in reset does.

Our recommendation. Behavior Camp is the residential program for reactivity, fear, and resource guarding. When there is a real bite history, aggression rehabilitation is the structured, safety-first track. Reactivity that shows up mostly on leash can also fit the leash reactivity intensive. Every one ends with hands-on coaching so the calm survives the trip home.

BOARD AND TRAIN OR DAY OPTIONS

Fast Deep Reset, or Build It Into Your Routine

This is the question we hear most. Both get you to a well-mannered dog. They get you there differently.

  • Board and train. Your dog lives and trains with us for a concentrated stretch, then we transfer the skills to you. Choose this for the fastest, deepest change and a head start you could not build in weekly sessions. Start with Foundation Camp for core obedience, or Transform Camp for the full off-leash finish.
  • Day options and lessons. Your dog comes home each night while skills build into your daily life. Choose this when you have time to practice and want the training woven into your routine. DaySchool trains across the workday, and Private Lessons put the coaching in your hands.

CARE, NOT TRAINING

When You Need Care From People Who Know Your Dog

Sometimes the need is not a program, it is a safe place and a steady routine. Because it is the same team across every service, the people watching your dog already know how they like to greet, settle, and play.

  • DaySchool day care. Structured play and enrichment that covers the workday and keeps social dogs happy and tired. See DaySchool
  • Boarding. Overnight stays for travel, with the same familiar faces and routine your dog already trusts. See boarding
  • Grooming. Baths, brush-outs, and nails by a team your dog is already comfortable with. See grooming

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the Decision Center and the program comparison?

The Decision Center is a guided chooser. You tell us the goal or the issue and we recommend one path with confidence. The program comparison is the side by side spec table for when you already know your options and want to check length, format, and price column by column. Most people start here, then confirm the details there.

My dog is reactive or has bitten. Where do I start?

Start with Behavior Camp for reactivity, fear, and resource guarding, or aggression rehabilitation when there is a bite history. Both are residential so your dog gets a full reset, and we coach you on the handoff so the calm holds at home. If you are unsure how serious it is, book the PD360 assessment and a senior trainer will tell you straight.

Should I do board and train or keep my dog home for lessons?

Choose board and train when you want a fast, deep change and a head start you could not get in weekly sessions. Choose private lessons when you have the time to practice and want the skills built into your daily routine at home. Plenty of families do a camp first, then private lessons to lock it in.

I just want my puppy to start off right. Is camp overkill?

Usually yes. A young puppy belongs in the Puppy Program or Group Classes, where socialization and foundation manners come at the right pace. We will tell you honestly when a camp is more than your dog needs.

What if I need care, not training?

Same trusted team, same two campuses. DaySchool covers the workday with structure and play, boarding covers travel, and grooming keeps your dog clean and comfortable. Because it is the people who already know your dog, care and training reinforce each other.

How do I get a definite recommendation for my exact dog?

Take the two minute quiz for an instant starting point, or book the PD360 assessment for an in person evaluation and a written plan. You can also call us at 480-595-6700 and we will point you to the right path.
