Behavior Severity Level
Severity: Moderate
What you may be seeing
- Barking that lasts more than a few seconds after the trigger has passed or resolved
- Barking directed at the owner — persistent, escalating, clearly demanding something
- Barking or howling reported by neighbors when the dog is home alone
- Alert barking at sights or sounds that pose no real threat — the mail carrier, a passing car, the HOA maintenance crew
- Barking that begins when the owner sits down, gets on the phone, or shifts attention elsewhere
- Barking in the yard at fence lines, other dogs, or nothing the owner can identify
- Barking that escalates when the owner tries to correct it verbally
- A dog who settles only after extended periods — cannot quiet down within a reasonable time
- Barking associated with pacing, inability to settle, or other anxiety signals
- Barking that disrupts sleep, work, or normal household function on a daily basis

What Our Clients Say
“I work from home and my dog was barking at the front window all day long. I was muting myself on calls constantly. Foundation Camp was genuinely life-changing — not just for the barking but for everything. He has a 'place' command now that he'll hold for hours. My home office is peaceful for the first time in two years.”
“We live in a townhouse in North Scottsdale and our HOA had contacted us twice. I was desperate. The Partners team figured out pretty quickly that it was anxiety-based barking, not just bad manners. Behavior Camp solved the problem I'd been trying to solve on my own for over a year. I only wish I'd called sooner.”
