Emma Badoni
Boarding Manager at Partners Dog Training in Scottsdale, where dogs stay comfortable and keep progressing
About Emma
Hello, my name is Emma Badoni, and I manage boarding at our Scottsdale location. I grew up with dogs, and before joining Partners I worked in animal shelters, veterinary clinics, and boarding and daycare facilities. That mix taught me how to read a dog quickly and keep them calm and cared for when they are away from home.
Since coming to Partners I have worked with a wide range of breeds and training needs, and every dog has added to what I know. I love getting to know each family and their dog, then helping them make real progress toward the goals they care about at home.
I love learning from every dog I work with, then helping their family enjoy a calmer, more reliable life at home.
What Emma loves
Training Philosophy
I follow the balanced approach Partners is known for, personalized to the dog in front of me and to where we are in working a behavior. That means moving through four clear stages, Teaching, Reinforcing, Proofing, and Maintenance, so a new skill is introduced patiently, built into a habit, tested around real distractions, and then held for the long run. I stay open-minded about the methods and tools we use, because the right plan is the one that gives this dog the best result and gives the family a calmer, more reliable life together.
Ideal Client & Goals
My favorite families are the ones who stay open-minded to our methods and tools and who stay involved before, during, and after their dog's camp. When a parent practices what we build together, the results hold at home, and that is where a dog really becomes an easy, welcome part of everyday life.
Experience
I grew up with dogs, and before Partners I worked in animal shelters, veterinary clinics, and boarding and daycare facilities. In my year here I have trained a wide spectrum of breeds with very different needs, which has deepened my knowledge and sharpened how I care for and train each dog.
Favorite moment: My favorite part of the work is seeing how much I learn from each new dog, then watching that knowledge help a family reach the goals that matter to them.
