Noa Holt-Shannon
Team Success Manager at Partners Dog Training in Cave Creek, coaching staff and pet parents to lasting results
About Noa
Hi, my name is Noa, and I have been passionate about dog training for as long as I can remember. I have loved working with puppies, older dogs, and the ones with intense behavioral issues, the cases where a family is worn out and just wants their home to feel calm again. There is nothing like watching a nervous or reactive dog settle into a life that actually fits the household.
As Team Success Manager at our Cave Creek location, a big part of my job is teaching. I coach our staff and I guide our clients, and watching both grow has been one of the most rewarding parts of this work. When a trainer levels up and a family finally sees their dog respond, that is the win I show up for every day.
Watching a family and their dog finally understand each other is the win I show up for every day.
Specialties & Programs
Training Philosophy
I believe in balanced training that is personalized to the dog in front of me, not a one-size template. Every behavior moves through four stages, Teaching, Reinforcing, Proofing, and Maintenance, and I meet the dog where it actually is in that process. That means introducing a concept clearly, building consistency, testing it under real distractions, and then keeping it solid for the long haul. The goal is never a dog that only listens in the training room. The goal is reliable manners and a calm, confident dog that fits your normal life at home, on a walk, and around the people you love.
Ideal Client & Goals
My ideal client is someone who knows what they are signing up for and is ready to put in the effort, or someone new to all of this who is open to learning and willing to be guided through the transition. I do not need you to have all the answers. I need you to show up curious and consistent. When a family leans in like that, I can hand them the tools and the confidence to keep the progress going long after our work together, and that is when the results really stick.
Experience
I have spent more than five years in pet care across training, kennel work, and management, and in that time I have worked with thousands of dogs, from young puppies to older dogs to serious behavior cases. That range taught me how to read a dog quickly and build a plan that fits its needs. My favorite part, though, is seeing our team members grow in their own skill and watching the progress they make with our guests.
Favorite moment: My favorite part of this work is watching our team members grow and seeing the progress they make with our guests, the moment a trainer and a family both level up at once.
